Porridge is a controversial food item in the diet of a person suffering from diabetes. They are a source of good, “slow” carbohydrates, thanks to which you feel full for a long time. However, keep in mind that porridge consists of starch. The starch that enters the body is converted into glucose, which enters the bloodstream.
