Healthy food is the key to health

You have probably heard this saying more than once: we are what we eat. And this is definitely true. After all, not only our appearance depends on our nutrition, but also the condition of each of our organs and cells, the body in general, well-being and even our mood. That is why healthy food is one of the main aspects of our healthy and happy life.

The main principle of a healthy diet is the consumption of a sufficient amount of water. Clean water accelerates metabolism, nourishes the body at the cellular level, promotes weight loss and tones body tissues.

The next, no less important principle is balanced consumption of fats, carbohydrates and proteins, moderate consumption of calories. The most correct ratio of proteins-carbohydrates-fats for the body is 1.2:4:1. In order to follow this ratio, your menu must be balanced.

Eat dairy products. It is better that it is cheese, sour cream, kefir, and not yogurts with added flavors, flavor enhancers and dyes. You should also eat fresh vegetables every day (not only cucumbers and tomatoes, but also zucchini, eggplants, cauliflower, broccoli, beets, etc.), fruits and berries. Remember that the darker the berry, the more useful it is for the body. In addition, the diet should always include a variety of cereals (brown rice, buckwheat, oatmeal, etc.), meat (preferably low-fat – chicken, turkey), fish (fatty – salmon, trout, and mackerel), nuts, potatoes, legumes, flour products from durum wheat.

There are also some foods that should be limited. These are fried, fatty foods (but the consumption of fats, both vegetable and animal, should not be too limited), fast food products, as well as sweet carbonated drinks.

And the third principle is sufficient consumption of vitamins and mineral supplements. With a balanced diet, a deficiency of useful substances should not occur. Remember that cheese and dairy products contain calcium, seaweed and seafood contain iodine and zinc. Vitamin A is found in carrots, oranges, and persimmons. Vitamins of group B are found in large quantities in brown rice, liver, vitamin C – in currants, rose hips, sweet pepper, oranges, tangerines and lemons. And this is just a short list of healthy foods.

If there is a deficiency of vitamins in the body, you should choose a medicine containing vitamins and substances necessary for the body, which will help to get rid of the symptoms of deficiency as quickly as possible.
