5 tips for a healthy life

  1. Healthy Eating

Depending on what you eat, how you eat and how much, depends on your appearance, your well-being and your health. It is important to start healthy eating as early as possible. This does not mean constantly adhering to a diet and restricting yourself to everything. No! This means that you must make a choice in favor of fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs, which should be at least 50% of your diet, and also a minimum of sweets, flour and fast food. Balance your diet and take food 3-4 times a day in sufficient portion. This way you will not feel hungry and will not overeat at a time. Sometimes you can afford sweets and fast food, BUT … sometimes!  It is not every day and not every other day, but once a week, or better even less often. Sometimes do fasting days once a week or once every two weeks. The body, like you, also needs to rest. By following these simple recommendations you will already help your body to remain young and healthy.

  1. Drink water

The next important point is drinking the adequate amounts of water. Most people have a shortage of water in their bodies because they have no habit of drinking at least one liter of water daily. Most people prefer to drink tea, coffee, juices, sodas, which do not quench the thirst and body need for water. Do not forget that our body is 70% composed of water and it is the main component of blood. Blood cannot circulate normally if you do not consume enough water. The brain function worsens, appearance (the skin dries faster, wrinkles, gray hair appear), and the whole body suffers to one degree or another from a lack of water in the body. Therefore, drink water as much as possible. By the way, water also reduces the feeling of hunger.

  1. Physical activity

If you want to live to old age and stay healthy, then start daily sports and an active lifestyle. Movement is life. The less you move, the more irreversible processes occur in your body. Choose what you like: dancing, running, swimming, yoga, cycling, walking at least an hour a day, training in the gym, etc. Sport promotes normal functioning of the heart, prevents osteoporosis, positively affects the performance of our brain, and it also makes people happier. It’s never too late to play sports.

  1. Refusal of bad habits

If you want to stay young and healthy, you need to abandon bad habits. Alcohol, smoking, drugs, constant stress – all this affects your health and you will not succeed in surviving to old age healthy. The sooner you give up bad habits, the more chances you have that the body will recover.
