What is Primolut-N (Norethisterone) used for?

Primolut-N (Norethisterone) is an oral medication used to treat female patients suffering from endometriosis. It contains a synthetic hormone that that overstimulates glands in the body to reduce hormone levels that cause overgrowth of the uterine lining. This function may also make it useful for treating dysmenorrhea or to reduce heavy menstrual bleeding. It may also be used for the treatment of breast cancer when used at higher doses determined by your physician.

How should I use Primolut-N (Norethisterone)?

Always use Primolut-N (Norethisterone) according to the instructions of your physician to get the most effective results from treatment. The normal dosage is one tablet taken once daily, but the best directions will depend on the condition being treated, your current health, and the severity of your symptoms.
