Side effects that have been associated with Liothyronine Sodium use include:
Hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism both effect how well the body can process and excrete drugs. It is very important to tell you doctor of any other treatments you are taking.
Liothyronine Sodium does not cross the placenta easily, and is generally considered safe to use by pregnant women. Likewise, breastfeeding mothers can take Liothyronine Sodium as only a very small amount of thyroid hormone will be found in breast milk.
