What is K-BroVet (Potassium Bromide) used for?

K-BroVet (Potassium Bromide) is an anticonvulsant medicine used to control epileptic seizures in dogs. K-BroVet also contains vitamin B12 which encourages healthy neurological function.

How should I use K-BroVet (Potassium Bromide)?

Each pack of K-BroVet contains 60 x 250mg liver-flavoured chewable tablets.

Follow the dosage prescribed by your doctor. This will depend on the serum levels required and the weight of your dog. Do not miss a dose. If you do miss a dose and remember the same day, give a dose as soon as possible. If you do not remember until the next day just give the regular dose - do not double dose.

Safety of K-BroVet in pregnant or lactating dogs has yet to be established.

Tell your vet if your dog has any allergies, if they are taking any other medicines, or if your dog has any kidney disease.
