How should I use Ziten (Teneligliptin)?

Ziten is usually prescribed at a starting dose of one 20mg tablet per day. Your doctor will perform regular checks to see if blood levels are suitable. If not, the dosage can be increased to a maximum of 40mg per day if necessary.

What are the side effects of Ziten (Teneligliptin)?

Hypoglycemia and constipation are the main side effects that have been reported with teneligliptin use. If you notice and side effects or signs of allergic reaction, contact your doctor.

Please Note

Because Teneligliptin is such a new drug, not all risks are known. You should discuss the suitability of teneligliptin for your condition before starting treatment.

If Ziten is co-administered with another anti-diabetic drug, the risk of a hypoglycemic reaction is increased.

The manufacturer has noted that there may be a risk of intestinal obstruction due to the mechanism of action of teneligliptin. Use with caution and careful monitoring in patients with a history of intestinal obstruction or abdominal surgery.
