What is Keto-Diastix used for?

Keto-Diastix allow diabetics a quick and easy method of urinalysis. Each stick can test for the presence of ketones and glucose in the urine.

How should I use Keto-Diastix?

Each strip of Keto-Diastix has two small test areas at one end of the strip. The outer area tests for the presence of glucose. The inner area tests for presence of ketones.

On the side of the container are two color charts to compare to the test areas.

The strip can be passed directly through the urine stream, or you can collect urine in a clean container and dip the stick into the urine.

Check the ketone test area around 15 seconds after the strip comes into contact with the urine. Check the glucose test area around 30 seconds after the strip comes in contact with the urine.
