Uses include systemic fungal infections (Aspergillus species, Candida species, and/or Cryptococcus species) Cryptococcal meningitis and Visceral Leishmaniasis. AmBisome is classified as an antifungal antibiotic. It prevents the further spread of infection by killing the fungus.

AmBisome is comes in a powder form that needs to be reconstituted before use. The solution will then be administered by an intravenous drip. Only use the dosage specified by your doctor for your condition.
